An article co-authored by our lab head, Prof. Maya Benish-Weisman, in collaboration with fellow researchers, titled “The role of personal values in opinion formation regarding a high-stakes, continually evolving topic: The Hamas–Israel hostage deal negotiations,” has been featured on EurekAlert!.
The study, published in American Psychologist by researchers at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, shows that core personal values play a key role in shaping public opinion on hostage negotiations during times of crisis.
